Here in VoIP.ms, we provide you with unique tools that will let you calculate your expenses with no room for mistake.

Before we begin, remember that here in VoIP.ms, the inbound and outbound are separately charged. For example, if you take a US DID number (for receiving calls), the cost can be $0.99 a month and $0.01 per minute. And all your outbound will still be charged as per the termination rates. For example, calling a US48 number is $0.0105 per minute.

We also are prepaid service provider and you need to deposit a minimum of $25 in your account to be able to use the services.

Lets begin with the basic, adding funds.

Contents

Adding Funds

Adding funds to your account is pretty simple, from the customer portal, go to Finances menu > Add funds. Here you will see the the payment methods available:

  • Paypal
If your Paypal payment has been made with your paypal balance or a credit card, your payment should be credited instantly.
However, some times, Paypal takes up to 1 hour in order to credit the payment.
If your payment was made with Echeck funds, the payment is not added instantly. When you send money over.
Echeck, Paypal has to withdraw the money from your bank account first. This process can take from 3 to 5 days.
After Paypal receive the funds, they deposit it in our Paypal account , and we automatically credit your account.
  • Credit Card
  • Bank Wire (The minimum amount for a Bank Wire is USD $500.00. A service charge of $15.00 will be debited for payments under USD $1000.00. Payments can be sent to our Bank Account in USA (Desjardins Bank at Orlando, Florida) or Canada (Bank of Montreal, Quebec).
  • Western Union (The minimum amount for a Western Union is USD $100.00).
For the Bank Wire and Western Union information please contact us to [email protected] for the details.

Account Balance

Now, lets check on the current balance. From the customer portal go to Finances menu > Account Balance.

Now you will notice the Incoming DID charges, this is the total amount of charges, we are not charging on the next three days and then on the day seven this shows acumulative charges.

Transaction History

Now lets see the transaction history option. From the customer portal > Finances menu > Transaction History.

Here will be displayed all the transactions mostly DID monthly fees, DID setup fees, and other fees like fund added to your account, charges from LNP department (porting process fee) , CNAM Queries.

Note: Make sure to select the desired date range, when checking for the transaction history, also on the bottom of the page,
you will see the exact number of transactions according to the range of dates selected.

The Invoice

Now, all the previous detailed information can be found in one place, The invoice. From the customer portal please go to Finances menu > Generate Invoice.

The same way we selected the date range in the transaction history, we can do it for the Invoice, here we will not only see the transactions, we will also see the Communication Charges (including incoming and outgoing) for the range of date selected.

Note: There is a Canadian version of the invoice, if you want it to display the GST and PST taxes.

Call Detail Records

You can also see the total calculation of the Incoming and Outgoing calls from the CDR, selecting the date range desired.

The filters here allow you to specify if you want only Incoming/Outgoing, From the main account/sub account, and also the specific number.

Please refer to our more extended explaination of the CDR here: Call Detail Records

Special Notes

  • If you are still confuse about one charge, please do not hesitate and contact our Support Staff via Live chat session or Ticket system, we will be glad to help you.
  • The Billing Increment is a call duration measurement unit expressed in seconds. For example, with a $1.00 per minute rate, and a 60 second billing increment, any call less than 60 seconds is rounded up to 60 seconds or 1 full minute of usage. A 5 second call and a 50 second call are both billed as 1 minute or $1.00. With a 6 second billing increment, a 5 second call is billed as 6 seconds or 1/10 of 1 minute or $0.100. This way, you don't get charged by the whole minute just for a 10 seconds call.
  • Note that for legal and security reasons we are not allowed to delete or cancel any DID number, once that you purchase a DID, it belongs to you and we can't delete it unless is not working properly. A DID number in the account will generate monthly charges even if you do not add funds, it is the customer responsibility to cancel the number if he is not going to use it anymore.
  • We also have a Balance Alert Threshold system, that is useful to send alerts to your email address when you reach certain balance, you can configure this in your account settings.
