Developed by sipsynergy, Callroute is an advanced call routing, number management and user provisioning solution.

It allows you to connect any phone system together and to any service provider without the need for any infrastructure or deep technical knowledge.

Callroute configuration for VoIP.ms

With a user-friendly interface, Callroute will let you easily add VoIP.ms as your carrier.

In this section, we will go through the steps to do this.

Add VoIP.ms as carrier

Once you have got access to the Callroute platform, login and click on your user to start setting up your phone system.

On the main screen, you will have a menu on the left side where you will find all the tools necessary to set up everything.

To add VoIP.ms as your carrier, click on the Carriers menu and then click on the button Connect a carrier +.

In the next page, locate VoIP.ms and click on the button Connect. Then, you will need to enter the following information:

  • Label: This can be any name of your choice (E.g. VoIP.ms).
  • Username: Your Main or Sub-Account username (E.g. 100000 or 100000_MySubAccount).
  • Password: The password of the account that you're trying to connect Callroute with.

Click on the button Add carrier once you have entered the right configuration.

After this, Callroute will confirm the configuration was successful. In your customer portal, you should also notice the status of the account used will change to Registered.

Adding your DIDs

To handle inbound calls in Callroute you will also need to add the VoIP.ms DID or DIDs that you will use for this.

This is also easy to do. First, click on the Numbers section on the left menu, and on that page, click on the button Add a range +.

 IMPORTANT: Callroute always registers to the POP server london1.voip.ms. Make sure the DIDs that you will use are on this server too.

On the window that will prompt, you can add the DID that you want to add to Callroute by choosing the following information.

 If you have a set of DIDs in the same range, you can add the first one and state the number of DIDs in that range.
 Otherwise, you can enter the DID, select 1 as the range and add the rest as new numbers.
  • First number in the range: Enter the DID number.
  • Total: If you have more DIDs in the same range enter the total of these here, otherwise leave it as 1.
  • Select a provider: Select Bring your own carrier.
  • Select a carrier: Select VoIP.ms.
  • Tag: Any tag to help you identify the DID or range of DIDs.
