• $NOTIFY as a keepalive msg returns errors from the voip.ms server. I have found setting NAT Keep Alive Msg to "KeepAlive" to be a better default choice. It let's the server know your ATA is still there without forcing it to return an error each time.

• It might be worth mentioning that although G729 will save bandwidth it will degrade voice quality.

• Network Jitter Level=Low will get you the best latency but it also might be worth mentioning that how low you can set it will depend on the quality of your Internet connection and may require some trial and error.

• If you have problems getting PAP2T to register SIP, try using IP address for proxy (for example, 74.63.41.218 rather than newyork.voip.ms).
