beroNet is Europe's leading manufacturer of ISDN, Analog, Hybrid and GSM VoIP access technologies. The following section describes the configuration to configure a VoIP.ms SIP Trunk on a beroNet VoIP gateway.

To start, you will need to validate the version of your beroNet Gateway, it's need to be at the firmware version 16.15 or higher.

We will show you the configuration for a base on an ISDN-PBX with PRI/BRI interfaces who's connected to a BeroNet gateway, we will explain you how to link a VoIP.ms SIP-Trunk.


Connection Settings SIP Trunk

You will need the following settings from your VoIP.ms account.


SIP General Settings

To be able to connect your SIP Account, you will need to create a SIP Trunk. To do so, go to the top navigation menu and clic on "SIP+".

Once you are at the "SIP CONFIGURATION" page, you will need to add a new trunk by clicking on "Add"

On the top menu SIP, "SIP General Options" you can modify general SIP-Account Settings.


 Depending on how/where you are going to use the beroNet gateway, you will need to add "port forwarding rules" on your Route for the SIP Bindport 5060 and the Audion RTP Range 10000-20000.

Sip Configuration Settings At this part, you will need to enter the informations of your VoIP.ms account.

- Name: VoIPms (Or the name of your choice)
- Server Address: Your preferred VoIP.ms Server
- User: Your sub account username
- Authentification user: Your sub account username
- Secret: Your sub account password
- Displayname: Is your Outbound Caller ID Name (Usualy not exced 15 caracters for Landline caller ID Display)
- SIP Transport: You need to choose UDP
- NAT options: Use the option by default No-NAT.
- Register: Check the box


Advanced SIP account Settings (More)

Under the menu "more" you don't have to change anything because the default settings of the gateway are ok.

SIP General Setting

You will need to ajust the RTP Port Range under "SIP General" settings to this value.

Bind Port: 5060 RTP Port Range: 10000-20000 TOS RTP: 160 TOS SIP: 160 Reject Calls under load: [unchecked] RTP Port section: standard SIP transport: udp



Finally we have to set the Country and City Code, as well as the International prefix, for instance the settings for Germany Berlin are:

International Code: 011 (without trailing 00) National Code: 1 (without trailing 0) International prefix 00


Furthermore you can choose the Destination and Source Number Format. Deafult is 00 (int) (nat) (num)




Hardware Settings

Under the menu "Hardware" you can find all settings in regards to the hardware you are using. Set the PRI to NT mode by modifing the Type settings. Same applies to BRI ports. Furthermore set the "Clock mode" to InernalCrystal".
