For Canada and USA there are two available options:

-

-
'''Value''' is the greatest price for Canada and USA. This permit us to offer Canada starting as low as 1/2 cent per minute, depending on location, and USA at a flat rate of 1.05 cent. Our value rate is of the best quality we could find and targeted at end users and resellers who are looking for the best wholesale prices without any volume commitment. CallerID pass-through is not always guaranteed to work on this route.

-

-
'''Premium''' has a flat rate of 1.25 cent for both USA48 and Canada and is routed through established and renowned tier-1 carriers always delivering the same level of quality, at a price that is a little higher than our value option. This price is intended to end-users with  critical business calls or resellers who are willing to pay a little more for assured quality, but still less than other US48 tier-1 providers. CallerID pass-through is guaranteed for this route.

For International numbers (Outside of USA48 and Canada) there are also two available options:

Allow 411 dialing

When enabled, users can Dial 411 for directory assistance at the cost of $0.99 per call. Please note that XXX-555-1212 is disabled on our system. The only way to reach directory assistance is by dialing 411.

Allow International Calls

When Disabled, calls placed to destinations outside USA/Canada will be automatically rejected. Please noticed that for new accounts, this option is set to "No", by default. You can choose while enabling it, to apply it just for the main account, or globally.

Max. Call Time for US48/Canadian Calls

Are you worried about spending too much on a call? Set the maximum time for calls to US48/Canada Numbers with this option. If a call to a US48/Canada Number exceeds the maximum time, it will be automatically hung up.

Max. Call Time for International Calls

Just as the US48/Canadian calls option, this will set the maximum time for calls to International Numbers. If a call to an International Number exceeds the maximum time, it will be automatically hung up.

International Amount Restriction

Still worried about how much will you spend on International calls? Here, you will be able to set the maximum amount per minute for calls to International Numbers. If the minute rate for an International Number exceeds the maximum amount, the call will not be connected.

Allow Calls to Countries

Here you can select Regions or Specific Countries to allow calls. In order to allow calls to a specific country you can click the name of the region to expand the countries within it and check the box next to the country. If you want to select a complete region you can check the box next to its name and all countries within that region will be selected. You can also select all countries by checking the box next to 'Allow All'. Move the mouse over the name of a specific region to see the a list of selected countries. General

These are the general settings used by the systhem when you make or recive calls.

General.jpg

Dialing Mode

  • North America (Recommended): You can dial to countries part of the North American Numbering Plan Administration by dialing 10 or 11 digits. (with or without the 1 prefix). You'll need to use the 00 or 011 prefix to call international numbers.
  • E164: You dial numbers by using Country Code first. You don't need to send the 00 or 011 prefix when using this mode, but it's still supported.

CallerID Number

If you are using an ATA, IP Phone or Softphone, you probably want to set this here. It is important to pass a valid caller id to ensure proper termination. If you have a a device capable of passing its own CallerID number such as a soft switch or PBX, you can leave this blank to set the CallerID on your side.

Voicemail Associated to the Main Account

You can select a mailbox to be associated to the main account.

This will do two things:
  • Accessing Voice Mail: When you dial *97 from your main account, it will not prompt for the voicemail ID. It will also not prompt for the password if you have selected "Skip Password" option in the voicemail configuration.
  • Mail Waiting Indicator: When there are new messages, notice of new message(s) will be sent. This will lead to different results depending on your type of adapter, soft phone or IP phone. For example, when using a Linksys ATA adapter, it's usually a stutter tone with periodic ring, IP phones usually use a stutter dial tone when you pick up the line and are equipped with a blinking light, soft phones usually show up a Voicemail Icon in the dial display.

Music On Hold

Most IP Phones and Softphones inform the VoIP server they are connected to when the HOLD Button is pressed. If you would like to present music to the person you place on hold, you can select it here.

Security

These settings let you change your "Customer Portal" password as well as your SIP and IAX passwords for the main account. You can also change the way SIP and IAX passwords are displayed on various pages of the "Customer Portal".

Display SIP and IAX password(s) in Customer Portal

If enabled, the customer portal will display SIP and IAX passwords in plain text in the customer portal. Account Information, Configuration Samples, Sub Account Management are pages that display the password information when enabled. It is recommended that you leave this disabled. Enable this if you need to copy/paste configuration samples or if you forgot a SIP or IAX password for your account or one of your subaccounts. You must enter your current customer portal password to display this information.
