Configuration Detail
- Start Zoiper Softphone.
- Click on Settings menu on the top of the app.
- Now click on Create a new account.
- Choose the protocol (SIP or IAX2) you're using with that account.
- Click on the Next button.
- Fill in the information according to your account:
- User: Your Main account or sub account username (six digit number) E.G 123456 / 123456_XX (the underscore has to be used for sub-accounts)
- Password: The password you set for the account / sub account
- Domain: One of VoIP.ms multiple servers, you can choose the one closest to your location
- Click on the Next button.
- On the next window you can set the Account Name that account will have on the Zoiper and choose if you want to skip the auto-detection.
- Click on the Next button and the Zoiper will confirm when the account is ready to use.
- Once the account is created, click on the Settings menu again and select the Preferences option.
- Select the Codec tab and at the right you will see the codecs available, leave only as selected codecs, u-Law and GSM and G.729(if available with the version). Set the rest to the left side and apply.
- Your Zoiper should be ready to make calls
