Blink is a softphone available for MAC and Linux users, offering a variety of features free to use like the possibility to integrate System Address Book, Answering machine, Call: recording, transfer, waiting, Message Waiting Indicator (MWI) among many other options.

You will find a step by step below on configuring Blink with VoIP.ms
Configuration Details
- 1. Download Blink at https://icanblink.com/
- 2. Once downloaded, install the softphone and open it.
- 3. You will then be greeted with the following. Fill the following information:
- a. Select I already have a SIP account.
- b. Display name: That is the name that will displayed whenever you call someone. This solely works for Canada to pass your own name. If you are in the United States, you can update it from your customer portal under DID Numbers, Manage DID and pressing the black action button on the left side of your DID.
- c. SIP Address: Set your 6-digit main account username or sub account, @, the server you wish to register to. e.g: [email protected]. For a list of servers available, click | here.
- d. Password: Set your main account or sub account password.
- e. If you wish to Synchronize your contacts and sync with iCloud, check these options.
- 4. Once done, press Next and your softphone is configured!
- 5. You can dial 4443 from the field on top named Search Contacts or Enter Address to test the quality of the call.
