Configuration Detail

  • Start Zoiper Softphone.


Zoiper App


  • Click on Settings menu on the top of the app.
  • Now click on Create a new account.
  • Choose the protocol (SIP or IAX2) you're using with that account.
  • Click on the Next button.
  • Fill in the information according to your account:
    • User: Your Main account or sub account username (six digit number) E.G 123456 / 123456_XX (the underscore has to be used for sub-accounts)
    • Password: The password you set for the account / sub account
    • Domain: One of VoIP.ms multiple servers, you can choose the one closest to your location

Zoiper SIP account


  • Click on the Next button.
  • On the next window you can set the Account Name that account will have on the Zoiper and choose if you want to skip the auto-detection.
  • Click on the Next button and the Zoiper will confirm when the account is ready to use.
  • Once the account is created, click on the Settings menu again and select the Preferences option.
  • Select the Codec tab and at the right you will see the codecs available, leave only as selected codecs, u-Law and GSM and G.729(if available with the version). Set the rest to the left side and apply.
