You will find a step by step below on configuring SessionTalk with VoIP.ms for Android & iOS.

Configuration Details

1. Download SessionTalk On Google Play Store or Apple Store

2. Once installed, open it and you will be greeted with the following page. Click on the + sign.

3. Select Generic and on the next page, fill the following information:

  • A. Account Name: Enter a name of your choice simply to identify the account.
  • B. UserName: Set your 6-digit main account username or sub account. Eg: #####_SubAccount
  • C. Password: Set your main account or sub account password.
  • D. Display Name: (This will be your Outgoing Caller ID Name. It will be used when calling Canadian numbers. Please read the note below)

IMPORTANT

  • Entering outbound Caller ID Name, it must be in CAPITAL LETTERS. This will appears more clearly/visible on some devices.
  • You must NOT use any special characters. They will not be displayed and it prevents potential outbound call issues.
  • Do NOT exceed 15 characters. Traditional canadian providers will not show more than 15 characters. We suggest shrinking or adapt the name.
  • Spaces are allowed in a caller ID name but count as a caracters. (do not exceed 15 chars. in total).
  • E. Auth Username: Set your 6-digit main account username or sub account.
  • F. Domain Name: Set the VoIP.ms server you wish to register to. For a list of servers available, Click here
  • G. Proxy: Same server you’ve set in the previous field.

4. Press on the button next to Activate Account and then the checkmark on the top right.

5. Your Phone is now registered and ready to start making calls!
