Changing DID Billing Plan

VoIP.ms allows you to change the billing plan of your geographical USA and Canada DID number(s) in the moment you wish to do it. The change of plan can be performed inside the customer portal without the need to contact technical support.
Note: You can change the billing plan of your number only once per month.
How to Change the Billing Plan of your DID number
To do this, you first need to login to the customer portal, then please go to DID number menu -> option DID billing, there you will see something like this:
If you click on button "Modify" you will be able to see a page with 2 different sections.
First you can see the information of the current plan of your DID number, per example:
Immediately, you can see the information of the new plan of your DID number, for example:
At the bottom of this page you have button "Update Incoming Billing Plan for DID number XXXXXXXXXX now", however notice if you click on it this action implies the following:
1) The change of the billing plan of your DID number will take effect immediately.
2) The new billing date of the new billing plan of your DID will be reset to today's date, and
3) The system will charge you again today with the new monthly rate of the new billing plan( check next section to clarify ).
How the Charges are applied when you Change the Billing Plan of your DID number
VoIP.ms offer 2 different billing plans for your USA and Canada DID numbers: Per Minute and Flat Rate ( for Residential usage ), it means there are 2 different possible changes:
A) Per Minute to Flat Rate, in this case the system will charge you the monthly fee on the same date of the new billing plan.
B) Flat Rate to Per Minute, in this case the system will not charge you for this plan modification. On the next billing date of the DID the number will be charged according to the per minute monthly fee. However, take notice that once this change is made the system will start charging your calls according the per minute rate.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If for any reason the system does not allow you to change the Billing plan of your DID number, you need to contact the support staff of VoIP.ms in order to change the plan.
